photo.net (street photography)
The best thing about street photography is that the final viewer can see more in the picture than the photographer originally did, Because there are so many things happening on the streets at any given moment. A technique that street photographers commonly use is to use a wide-angle lens, set the ISO high, and use a pre-focusing lens. Also, set the lens at hyper-focal distance from the subject you're shooting- usually 5 to 12 feet away. With street photography, it's interesting because you can take a photo of a busy street scene that looks simple, but there's so much going on, you can find something new in the background every time you look at the picture.

360 cam
I watched the video called 360 scuba diving and i really enjoyed it. even under water, the image is clear. i like how a normal camera view was shown side by side to the 360 camera. it looks fairly small and easy to use, and it definitely captures more than a rgular camera would, as the side by side comparison reveals. you can make a lot of cool looking pictures and videos and capture more with this particular camera. i''m glad it was invented, and i only see more innovations in photography in the future.

20 coachella memes- partner project
Sammi Mrowka was my partner for this project. If you look on her slikpic, you'll find these same 20 memes. That's not because one of us copied off of the other, it's because we worked together and split the work equally.

fav photo from http://www.jkphotoart.com
I checked out the jkphotoart website, looked at all the pictures in "Gallery 1" and this one was my favorite. It stood out the most to me. I can't exactly tell if it's a real photo, or a painting. I never see anything like this out in the world. It probably is edited a lot to make the colors blend or stand out, etc. I like how clouds are covering the entire sky and light is coming through t some parts. The ocean has white foam in some parts, too, so they look really similar but are on opposite sides of the photo. In the middle is a little peninsula with houses and a patch of bright green grass. This provides contrast and something to focus on because most of the picture is the sky and ocean, dark blue, white, grey.. just kinda gloomy looking. It looks like a gloomy cloudy day. And the houses and sand are beige, another plain boring color. The green is right in the center of the picture, it's really bright and it is a happy vibrant color, as opposed to the dark gloomy boring colors in the rest of the photo, so it's something to focus on, something that standsout from the rest of the picture, but it belongs there. it goes with the theme of a little peninsula with a house overlooking the ocean on a cloudy day.
